Join us for the Annual BirdDog x Field & Stream Exclusive Fishing Experience at the beautiful Back Lakes Lodge in Rockport, TX. This premier fly fishing event, led by the All Water Guides team, gives you the chance to stalk trophy redfish, black drum, sheepshead, and trout in some of Texas’ most pristine coastal waters.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to fly fishing, our expert guides will teach you tips and techniques while ensuring a fun, rewarding time on the water. This all-inclusive trip covers lodging, meals, and gear—just bring your passion for fishing (and your own rods/flies if you prefer).
Expect comfortable accommodations, gourmet meals, and great company in a relaxed setting. October is prime time on the Texas coast, with active redfish kicking off their spawning season. It’s the best time of year to fish this region!

Friday
- 3-5pm: Arrival and pickup swag bags
- 5pm: Fly casting lessons with Austin Orr
- 7pm: Dinner
Saturday
- 7-7:30am: Early breakfast
- 8:30am: Arrive at the ramp for full day of fishing (8hrs)

- 5pm: Fly casting lesson
- 6:30pm: Snacks + Apps at the lodge
- 7pm: Red fish & Shrimp night hosted by Nomad Grills/Fish Fixe
Sunday
- 7-7:30am: Early breakfast

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to bring their own rods, reels, flies, and lures. However, our expert guides will also provide all the necessary gear, so you can pack light if you prefer.
Of course! Our experienced guides are here to help anglers of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros, ensuring everyone has a successful and enjoyable day on the water.
Yes, all anglers will need a basic fishing license based on the state they are fishing. We will communicate to you and give you a link to purchase your license for both saltwater & freshwater trips.
